Balázs Zélity

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Wesleyan University. My research focuses on policy-relevant issues in the areas of macroeconomics, demographic economics, and international economics. My work has explored how demographics, institutions, and international capital flows shape the macroeconomic trajectories of countries in the medium-to-long run.

My approach to research combines empirical and theoretical tools. I work extensively with causal inference techniques as well as with general equilibrium models.
